Detaily podujatia
PWR Prague Conference is a biennial international forum organised by the Czech Nuclear Society.
The International PWR Prague Conference builds upon the longstanding tradition of VVER Conferences held in Prague since 2000. The topics covered by VVER conferences have long surpassed the scope of Russian-type reactors, and participation from countries operating pressurized water reactors of other designs is increasingly broad. NPPs with VVER-type reactors definitely belong to the broader family of pressurized water reactors, addressing similar questions in all areas of safe, reliable, long-term, and economically competitive operation.
The conference brings together experts from nuclear power plants with PWR reactors (VVER-type including), designers, representatives of regulatory bodies, fuel suppliers, equipment and components suppliers, maintenance and other services providers.
TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE:
Nuclear fuel and fuel cycle:
- Nuclear fuel development
- Nuclear fuel operation and back-end
- Fuel inspections
Safety long term operation
- Effective ageing management
- Technological obsolescence programmes
- Approaches to justification of save LTO
- Feasibility studies for LTO
- Safety enhancements for safe LTO
Efficient maintenance Solutions
- Effective maintenance and outage strategies
- Efficiency improvement
- Power uprates
- Equipment qualification
- Robotics and manipulators
New PWR builds (large & small)
- Large units
- PWR SMRs
